On this edition of the weekly buff we have a beautiful brand new Porsche Taycan that is Porsches entry into the EV market and is a beautiful addition to the Porsche line up. What do ya’ll think should we get one for the shop?? 👀

When the customer dropped it off as always the first thing the crew started with was decontamination. We used our Evo Wheel Gel to remove all debris and brake dust from the wheels, along with our A.P.C on the tires to remove any grime that may be stuck on to them. The rest of the vehicle was washed using our Evo Pro Shampoo which is amazing for everyday use for professionals, and the DIY car lover that wants to relax by taking care of his car on the weekends.

Once we finished prepping it we moved on to Polishing with our EVO 21 and 15 polishers that are great for removing imperfections in the paint from any kind of driving you can think of. The Porsche paint wasn’t too bad to begin with so the guys performed a 2 step paint correction process to leave the paint looking perfect before we moved on to protecting the flawless product.

Maxwell our in house PPF Master began by cutting patterns from core for certain pieces of the Taycan, while other pieces were going to be custom cut by hand to allow for the best possible fit for the customer so it appear to the naked eye to be covered in PPF.

The final step in the process was of course of EVO PRO Graphene Ceramic Coating and EVO Vinyl & PPF Ceramic Coating for the parts that were covered in PPF. These two coatings will provide years of protection for the owner from scratches and road debris that may occur.
