On this edition of the weekly buff we present a beautiful 2023 Porsche 992 GT3 in Dolomite Silver. The owner Kenny wanted to bring it to us for some extremely minor paint correction, and to PPF the entire front end along with the mirrors, roof, and some small vinyl accents that will make this car look amazing when its all said and done. The vehicle was still fairly low on miles driven, but as always the first step is going to be a decontamination wash with our EVO Foam Cannon, and our EVO Shampoo. we always used a mild clay bar to remove any metal particles, and any abrasive grime that may be stuck on the finish from driving or transportation.

When the wash was done Josh and JR began the process of giving it a simple 1 step polish with our EVO 21 Polisher, our EVO 3000 Cut finishing polish, and an orange foam pad to leave the entire finish spotless and looking perfect for PPF and Coating to come. Once they completed that it moved over to our man Max who began the PPF install process. He had previously cut the patterns out so he could start right away without having to weed out the patterns from a full uncut sheet of PPF. This car is designed beautifully but that also means that it has curves and body lines that require the film to stretch making it difficult to install perfectly but not impossibly for Max. With a little help from Josh and Marcus, Max was done with the install in a day and we were able to move onto Ceramic Coating the vehicle.

The final step in the process was for us to apply an array of our Ceramic Coatings to protect the vehicle for years to come. We used our EVO Pro Plastic Renew & Protect on all the plastic trim on the bumper, and also under the hood where the frunk space is located. This coating provides a deep black that will last for years to come without fading or whitening over time. We then used our EVO Wheel & Caliper Coating on the face of the wheels to make them easier to clean, and to prevent any metal particles or brake dust from sticking to them over time. The final ceramic coating we used on this beautiful GT3 was our EVO Pro 9H Titanium Coating providing an 8 year warranty along with protection from the elements such as sun damage, and watermarks from rain that can linger on paint finishes. We applied two layers of this coating and it delivers deep amazing gloss each and every time we use it here at GLOSS IT HQ.

The customer was more than happy when he picked up his vehicle, and his one request was that he not be able to see any seams from the PPF so that it becomes invisible to the naked eye. Kenny loved the outcome of his brand new Porsche and was ready to take on track 😎👍🏽
