On this edition of the weekly buff we present a beautifully taken care of 1990 BMW E30 M3. This breathtaking vehicle has become timeless and when preserved well they are still head turners on the streets today. This specific one with the S14 engine among other upgrades done by the owner under the hood it puts out a solid 205Hp. The owner has had it for 27 years and decided its time to part with it so he brought it to us for paint correction to remove any imperfections, and Ceramic Coating to prevent further scratches or swirl marks.

The first step as always is a solid prep wash with our EVO Foam Cannon and EVO Shampoo to remove anything that may be stuck on the paint and to remove ensure that the finish is ready to be polished. Josh and JR began with a few test panels using our EVO 800 Heavy cut polish and Microfiber pad to remove deep imperfections and swirl marks that were present. They then decided that the second finishing step would be an Orange foam pad and our EVO 2000 Finishing polish to remove all marring and light scratches still visible in the paint. They also had to dry sand portions of the roof that had embedded watermarks that needed to be removed.

Once that entire process was complete we did another detailed wash to remove all the polish dust, and debris that could have fallen from the air on the finish. JR and Marcus then began the process of Ceramic Coating the entire vehicle. They used our EVO Wheel & Caliper Coating on the face of the wheels to make it easier to wash and keep them clean for at least a year to come. We also used our EVO PRO Graphene Ceramic Coating our top of the line coating providing up to 8+ years of protection from the sun, from the elements, and from everyday wear and tear from driving.

When the owner came to pick it up He gave us an amazing back story of all the mods hes done to the car, and how well it has been cared for over the last 3 decades since it first came on the road. The finish and gloss we were able to achieve was amazing and blow us all away the M3 left looking like a brand new vehicle and whoever ends up owning it next will without a doubt own one of the best copies left in existence.
