On this edition of the weekly buff we feature a beautiful Mercedes Benz 560SL Convertible. This specific car wasnt loved like it could have been for decades before it came into our shop. The owner wanted us to bring it completely back to life and we did just that and more.

The first step as always is to prep the finish for anything we are going to be doing to it. Our foam cannon along with our EVO PRO Shampoo is the perfect option for removing any grime, and dirt that may be on the paint finish from every day driving. Since this vehicle needed a bit more attention to remove everything possible we used a mild green clay bar to remove and embedded debris, brake dust, or grime that accumulated over the years of sitting outside.

Once the finish was clean and ready to begin getting polished Josh, and JR began the process using our EVO 21 Polishers along with our EVO 800 Heavy Cut polish to remove deep imperfections and scratches in the paint finish. When using a heavy cut polish it usually leaves some sort of Residual marring on the paint that is then removed with our 2000 Cut finishing polish to remove all light scratches left on the finish leaving it perfectly spotless. This ensures that once we ceramic coat the vehicle that it wont enhance imperfections found in the paint.

The crew gave it two layers of our EVO PRO 9H Titanium Ceramic Coating that provides protection for up to 8 years with a factory warranty from any of our certified installers nationwide, and we topped it off with our EVO PRO Body Guard that leaves a slick top coat and shine like no other product on the market.

When the customer picked it up he couldn’t believe it was the same vehicle that he had dropped off. The wheels looked almost brand new compared to what we got the first day. We were more than happy to deliver a beauty of a car back to a happy customer that is going to daily this thing around Vegas and turn heads no doubt.
