FAQ
What is paint protection film (PPF)?
PPF is a clear, durable film that protects your paint from chips, scratches, and environmental damage.
Is all PPF the same?
No. Quality varies by thickness and brand. Proper prep (including polishing) and seamless installation are key. Wrapped edges—not shortcuts—ensure the best result.
How long does PPF last?
High-quality PPF can last 5–10 years. Aftercare helps—apply a ceramic coating to prevent adhesive oxidation, especially in high UV climates.
Does PPF stop rock chips?
It helps, but thickness matters. We use 8.5–10 mil films for better protection. Always ask about thickness and warranty details.
What does PPF cost?
It starts around $1,495, depending on film, coverage, and install. We always confirm exact needs in person.
Should existing damage be fixed first?
Yes. PPF won’t hide rock chips or scratches. We recommend correcting damage before installation.
Do you install PPF on RVs and luxury motor coaches?
Yes — we’re one of the very few facilities in the country equipped to handle full PPF and ceramic coating on 45ft luxury motor coaches and Class A RVs. Our new production facility is purpose-built for coach-sized vehicles. Call us to discuss your coach.
What PPF brands do you install and how long does it last?
We install premium-grade PPF with an 8.5-10 mil film thickness — thicker than most shops use. High-quality PPF lasts 5-10 years depending on care. Every install is backed by our Gloss-It warranty. We recommend pairing it with a ceramic coating for maximum UV protection in the Las Vegas climate.
Do you offer paint correction before PPF or coating?
Always. We don’t coat over defects. Every vehicle goes through a full decontamination and inspection first. If correction is needed, we’ll tell you exactly what we see and recommend the right approach before we start.
How much does PPF cost in Las Vegas?
PPF pricing starts around $1,495 for a front-end package and scales based on coverage area and film grade. A full vehicle wrap in premium film can run $6,000-$12,000+. We use 8.5-10 mil film — thicker than most shops. Every install includes our Gloss-It warranty. Come in for a free estimate.
How do I find the best PPF installer in Las Vegas?
Ask three things: What film thickness do you use? (Ours is 8.5-10 mil.) Do you do the correction before installation? (We always do.) And how long have you been doing this? (Since 1990.) Reviews matter too — we’re at 4.9 stars across 837 Google reviews. We’d rather earn your business than just ask for it.
Do you do PPF and ceramic coating on Lamborghinis?
Absolutely — exotic and supercar protection is our specialty. We’ve worked on Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, and everything in between since 1990. Paint correction, PPF, and ceramic coating on exotics requires a different level of care and experience. Our team has it.
Do you offer PPF for Tesla vehicles in Las Vegas?
Yes — Tesla PPF is one of our most requested services. Teslas are notorious for soft paint that picks up swirls and rock chips easily, especially in Las Vegas driving conditions. We offer front-end, partial, and full-body PPF packages for all Tesla models. Come in for a free assessment.
What does PPF and ceramic coating cost for a Tesla in Las Vegas?
For a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y, a front-end PPF package starts around $1,495. Full-body PPF runs $6,000-$9,000+ depending on the model and film. Adding a ceramic coating on top starts around $800. We’ll give you an exact quote after a quick in-person assessment — no pressure, no blind quotes.
Do you offer PPF for Porsche vehicles in Las Vegas?
Yes — Porsche PPF is a specialty of ours. Whether it’s a 911, Cayenne, Taycan, or Panamera, we’ve protected them all. Porsches have precision paintwork that deserves precision installation. We use 8.5-10 mil premium film and always perform paint correction first. Full-front, rocker panels, full-body — we’ll build the right package for your car.
What does PPF and ceramic coating cost for a Porsche in Las Vegas?
A front-end PPF package on a Porsche 911 or Cayenne starts around $1,495 and a full-body wrap runs $7,000-$12,000+ depending on the model and film tier. Ceramic coating starts around $1,200 for a Porsche given the paint prep required. We give exact quotes in person — no guesswork, no surprises.
Why is paint correction necessary before PPF installation?
PPF is optically clear — which means it’s also optically honest. Swirl marks, micro marring, rids, and hard water spots in the paint beneath the film will show through, sometimes even more visibly than before. We correct the paint first so the film goes on over a perfect surface. A flawless PPF install starts long before the film ever touches the car.
