On this edition of the weekly buff we bring you a beautiful 2001 Ferrari 360 Spyder Modena. It boasts a 3.6L V8 putting out 400Hp that goes 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. This amazing car was brought to us a by a repeat customer that owns several corvettes as well. He chose this specific one because of the color, knowing he didnt want the same Rosso Corso Red that is the traditional Ferrari red. It came to us with decent paint although there were light imperfections from age, and an old 3M PPF front nose that needed to be removed and replaced.

The first thing the crew did was Josh took his time with a steamer to remove the old PPF from the nose of the Ferrari, it took almost 4 hours simply because it was so old that it would come off in little pieces at a time. Once that was finished Josh and JR washed the vehicle with our EVO Pro Shampoo a Foam Cannon, and a lush wash mitt. We also used a mild clay bar to remove anything abrasive that may be stuck on the paint finish from driving over time. Once they finished that they moved on to polishing the paint with our EVO 21 and EVO 12 Polishers and EVO 2000 Cut finishing polish. They were able to remove any imperfection in one step of paint correction as this beautiful car had been taken car of over the years.

Once Josh and Jr finished that we moved on to Max who began custom cutting all the PPF pieces for the front end, the fenders, and the hood. The old PPF was yellowed and showing wear from years of use, so it was perfect to replace it with a brand new film. Max did an amazing job at showing minimal seam lines and wrapping every panel under as far as he could to hide it from the naked eye. JR and Josh also took off the wheels while Max was working in order to clean them properly, clean the calipers, and then Ceramic Coat them using our EVO Wheel & Caliper Coating offering 1 year plus of protection.

The final step was for Josh and Jr to Ceramic Coat the entire vehicle with our EVO Pro Graphene ceramic coating offering 8+ years of protection with a warranty, and we also used our EVO PPF & Vinyl Ceramic Coating on the front end to provide additional protection from damage from the elements to the PPF, and it will reduce glue yellowing over time.

The owner was ecstatic when he received his vehicle back. It didnt even look like the same Ferrari that was dropped off a few days earlier. Rich and Noah went over aftercare with him and got the story of how he found the vehicle which was amazing to hear.
